After a hazardous journey he arrives at Elizabeth’s holiday cottage on the West coast of Scotland.
With little to go on and without much confidence Ben treks across country to a house on a lonely sea loch.
With his attention taken by the house he almost misses an old wartime naval depot in the cliffs opposite: camouflaged by a huge tarpaulin.
Behind the tarpaulin is an battered old American built corvette in the process of being fitted out with an array of complex wiring.
Having heard his story the head of MI5’s department responsible for counter terrorism calls a conference of experts to analyse what Ben has discovered.
